Enclosed Track Cranes

In order to provide a complete working package to our customers, Coleman Equipment offers a line of well built cranes to support our Manipulators, EzLift, VacUp or SuperHoist. In the construction of these systems, we utilize enclosed track to support both trolleys and end trucks. This design not only provides a smooth, protected surface to ride on, but also facilities the construction of trussed frames. By using truss structures, we are able to span long lengths and still keep the crane's weight low. This means there is less mass for an operator to move around when positioning a load.


Jib Cranes

Coleman enclosed track jib cranes are trussed booms mounted on a pivot to allow for boom rotation. The pivot location can be on a floor mounted pedestal, ceiling mounted pedestal, or a wall bracket. Each of these style jibs come in four capacities (150#, 250#, 500# and 1000#) and are made in lengths varying from 4' to 16'. The floor mounted pedestals have 360° rotation while the ceiling mounted and wall bracket units have approximately 180°.

Coleman enclosed track bridge cranes are trussed bridges mounted on end trucks set to run on enclosed track runways mounted on either side of the bridge. Bridge crane systems can be either supported from overhead or be provided with floor support structures. Standard crane models are supplied in four capacities, 250#, 500#, 1000# and 2000#. Bridge lengths vary from 8' to 34'. Runways start at 10' long and extension pieces can be added on for whatever length you desire.

In addition to our standard systems, Coleman Equipment has built many custom arrangements to suit a variety of applications. Show below are two of the more popular options. The first is our jib crane and VacUp mounted on a portable base plate. With this arrangement, an operator can easily move the system with a fork truck and never have to lag the pedestal to the floor to use it. The second is a double girder bridge. Here an EzLift and cantilevered vacuum attachment are provided with a movable rigid platform by having a trolley span across two bridges.
