The operation of the COLEMAN
MANIPULATOR with automatic weight sensing and balancing control circuit is
simple. In empty balance, the manipulator is floated over to the load to be moved.
Once attached, the load balance button is pressed and held. This will
activate the manipulator to start lifting at a preset adjustable rate. When the
manipulator is fully supporting the load, the button is released. At this point, the
manipulator will sense the weight of the load and will put it in balance. The part
can then be moved through the full work envelope by lightly pushing up and down on the
handles provided or on the part itself. The COLEMAN MANIPULATOR
will do all the work to move the load. |
